Parking in the Park

The main streets in the park had been plowed as of five days after the big snow storm, but some parking area were still covered with snow. This is not a problem, however, because there aren't that many people trying to use the park this week.

Snow in Middletown Park

This was photographed five days after the record-setting snow storm. Winter can be as beautiful as any other season.

Winter Wonderland

We had close to 20 inches of snow yesterday. I can't get out of my driveway, so today's picture is in my neighborhood, taken while the snow was falling.

A Little Snow

We got just enough snow yesterday to remind us of how pretty it can be.

Snow is in the forecast for today. It should be a perfect day to use some of this firewood. And of course I'll photograph the snow and post the result tomorrow.

Theme Day: Waiting

As I was scrolling through photos looking for scenes of people waiting in line or cars waiting for a green traffic light, I stumbled on this picture I took a few weeks ago. The dog is waiting for his human to throw something in the lake for him to retrieve. And the dog is wading. Waiting and wading - some goofy synergy to that. Happy Theme Day!
