Spring at the Lake

Flowers and trees are blooming around Middletown Park. Yesterday, Mother's Day, was a great day for a mother and son visit to the lake.

Tree Down

We wanted this tree down, but it was just a little too big for my chainsaw, and a little too close to the house. So we paid a professional to do it. This is what is left. I cut up the smaller branches and limbs into firewood. Some of these bigger sections will become chairs.

There is plenty of red in my yard each spring.

The ever-present water tower can be seen from miles away - in this case, four or five miles away.

This small snake is in my back yard. It is a very smart snake because it remained so motionless that my dogs didn't notice it.
